Perfectly sun-ripened jalapeno peppers are hand-picked and then skillfully hot-smoked for up to 36 hours using invasive acacia wood, in Santa Anna’s signature smoker to achieve the ultimate smoke flavour and correct moisture level. The chipotle is then blended with their mother sauce (Tomato & Red Pepper Salsa) to create the smoky chipotle salsa. Every sauce is hand-crafted and taste-tested before bottling and shipping to ensure depth of flavour, complexity, and the correct level of heat. It is low in sugar and salt, with no preservatives. Their smoky chipotle salsa is medium in heat and will add a smoky, spicy flavour to your dishes.
