This salsa is hand-crafted in small batches using ingredients sourced from local suppliers and farmers. They use fire–roasting sun-ripened tomatoes, red peppers, and onions over invasive acacia coals. Blending in fresh oregano, coriander, our signature blend of spices, and naturally fermented vinegar adds complexity to these fire-roasted ingredients. The salsa delivers a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity with a subtle lick of smoke, reminiscent of our favourite pastime, a braai. It is low in sugar and salt, with no preservatives. This is Santa Anna’s mildest sauce, with no chile added, and is perfect for those who want to add some mild depth of flavour to their dishes.
